Teaching & Coaching

I have 8 years of college-level teaching experience and 5 years of experience teaching theatre for kids. I offer private acting and audition coaching on a pay-what-you-can basis, and we can work together over Zoom or in person. I approach coaching as your colleague, not your critic, and personalize the experience to meet your specific goals. I donate 50% of all private coaching fees to Dayton Young Black Professionals.

adaptation

My academic background is in English Literature and Theatre Directing, so literary adaptation for performance is my jam. I wrote and directed my own original adaptation of Antoine de Sainte-Exupery’s The Little Prince, and co-adapted Herman Melville’s Moby Dick. I am available as a literary consultant, dramaturg, or adaptor. Samples of my writing are available on request.

Script workshops

I’m available to workshop scripts in development. This can include written or oral feedback, public or private readings with actors, or a combination of things. I ask a lot of questions and tailor my feedback to support the play that you are trying to achieve.
